You have your own light motorcycle and you are 16 years old. Your close one supervises you during the independent training period. It is recommended, but not mandatory, if your supervisor has an A-class license. The duration of the independent training period is 1-3 months. The course includes 4 driving hours before the handling test, the use of the bike and equipment in the handling test. Note! Riding test with your own bike and equipment no earlier than 1 month after the beginning of the training period.

A D driving licence includes the right to drive D1 category vehicles and allows you to drive a bus with seating for more than eight passengers in addition to the driver. Basic level 140 hours freight or passenger traffic (fully in English). Legislation concerning the driving of trucks and buses requires drivers operating in professional transport to complete basic professional competence training.
You must hold a valid C driving licence or be in the process of completing C category driving licence training. NOTE: The course includes a professional competence examination, which can only be taken in Finnish or Swedish.
The course is organised 2–3 times per year by agreement.
Further training days for goods and passenger transport are arranged by topic according to agreement.
